Baylands Park provides over 70 acres of developed parkland offering active recreation, pathways and picnic areas for families and large groups. An additional 105 acres of seasonal wetlands is protected as a wetlands preserve, providing habitat for plants and wildlife. Baylands Park is a successful joint venture between Santa Clara County, which owns the property, and the City, which manages and maintains the park.
Park Access and Fees: The park gate is open every day from 8:00 a.m. to one half hour after sunset. During the off-season of November through February there are no parking fees. County Parks annual vehicle passes are not accepted at this park.
*Checkout: Patrons must have a Full or Limited Access Sunnyvale Public Library card to borrow.
*Returns: Must be returned directly to library staff at the service desk.
